Hi all,

With strong winds forecast , yet again, we decided to seek some shelter leaving Capo Testa at 14.25 on 8th August and sailed along the straits of Bonifacio to head south to Liscia bay, Sardinia. Two dolphins came to play but we weren't quick enough to get a photo.

After anchoring in Liscia bay the wind increased as forecast into high. 20 s knots but with flat seas in the anchorage.
We lifted the following morning in 16/17 t wind to head further south to Cannigione.
We were just about to anchor in Cannigione when we saw another 54DS motoring past.....we knew the colour of the yacht, it's canopy etc from the past......it was Lorenzo on 'Mabi two'.
Those of you whom sailed the Atlantic with us know the yacht from Gran Canaria and the Atlantic crossing when we first met Lorenzo.

We motored over to see him, lovely for me as the first time in a few years, and always great to see a yacht and crew that you have met in different parts of the world.

We took a buoy near ' Mabi two' and the two Jeanneau 54DS 'girls' were moored together once more......no doubt sharing stories of 'their' voyages.......well that's what 'their' crew thinks any how........
That evening we had a wonderful time at Mabi and Lorenzos Sardinian home.....so lovely to spend time with them again.
