Flying Meatballs after a busy day at the office, Palma de Mallorca – Porto Petro 42NM May 21st 20 15
Departure at 9.00am heading for the fuel station before we set sail to Porto Petro. Passing Rapita Bay with 10 knts of wind and a calm sea. Arriving at Porto Petro at 19.00pm, 10 hours later, makes me think ‘ what did we do all day??’ Well, you can be quit busy actually. Sailing, eating, drinking, sleeping, helming, practicing knots and teaching Dutch words… and watching Anita enjoying herself at the helm, what a perfect day… After being spoiled for the passing days with delicious food, it was our turn to do the cooking. We made it a Dutch evening, with Anita’s famous meatballs and a veggie dish for Tina. Tony was already looking forward all day, he was rejoicing non stop… But first we started with a ‘borrel’ on deck with great view, company and talking about dreams, ideas and goals in life. Some beers later Anita made her best meatballs ever! We had a hilaric (..) evening, though you must never film with too much of alcohol… That’s not very civilised… But we had a great time, Anita having some whiskey, could not believe my eyes and the balls went down well… Had a calm night at the buoy.
