We left Fiskardo on the morning of 3rd August to motor the short distance south through the channel of water between Kefalonia and Ithaca to the small harbour of Ayios Eufimia.

The harbour here is pretty with a nice waterfront quay lined with taverna’s.

Nearby is a small cove perfect for swimming with crystal clear water and very tame fish---- thankfully very friendly, very small and minus ‘big teeth’.

I still haven't got over the sight of large barracudas floating behind me in the Caribbean--- so I still practice my 360 turns occasionally checking when snorkelling.

Thankfully these little fish don't start the theme tune of ‘Jaws’ inside my head--- der de der de der de......................... not much anyway!!!
