We have now sailed 500 miles and have enjoyed good
winds and warm sunshine for the whole of today. The Spanish coast
appeared at 0800 this morning, the NE wind picked up and we were surfing down
towards Cape Finisterre all morning.
We then called into Ria de Muros and anchored in a
beautiful sandy bay - Ensenada de San Francisco - to make the repairs
at the masthead. Captain Tony went up the mast and replaced the
spinnaker blocks and re-ran the lines.
We are now on our way south with 15/20kts of
northerly breeze giving us a good run towards a waypoint off Lisbon - 220 miles
away.
We have been overrun by Dolphins in the last 24
hrs. Some at night have been amazing leaving a trail of
phosphorescence as they play around Tioram.
All aboard send their love.
