At 07.29 hrs on 2nd October we lifted anchor to sail to Ibiza. In beautiful calm sea we saw Dolphins playing around the rocks as we left the bay.

The sea state gradually built throughout the day and became very unpleasant with a rolly cross sea from the North east.

With an on shore wind the South East coast of Ibiza was exposed and so impossible to anchor for the night...so we decided to push on the 70 n miles to arrive at the sheltered anchorage we know well in Formentera.

We finally anchored at 18.33 hrs off the beach in lovely calm conditions. We were pleased to have left early with enough contingency time to make Formentera in day light.

Calm overnight.
