Hi Everyone, We hope you have all had a good time over the past few months since we
posted our last blog at New year. We are in fact still âalive and kickingâ in
Malta having enjoyed the winter here.
The Maltese people have been kind and welcoming. Maltese people
appear to have time for one another, courteous and polite,
----drivers on busy main roads will slow and stop to let you cross if you are
waiting on the curb, young people vacate seats on overcrowded buses for elderly
ladies and gentlemen. People strike up conversations with you at the local
shops and on buses---a sense of community which embraces visitors.
Malta has some incredibly beautiful architectural palaces, churches and
official buildings. It has a great sense of history and heritage and in
contrast--- it has unbelievably pot- holed roads and unkept areas.
Every place has its strengths and weaknesses---- you often hear tourists
say you will either â love it or hate itâ .
We have really enjoyed our stay. See below a selection of photos of
different aspects of Malta
Love to all
