On 30th August we lifted anchor from Scoglio to head north along the coast. We sailed and motor sailed passing through a narrow channel by the island of Figarolo, following the gulf of Capo Figari and onto Portosco where we briefly anchored for provisions. We continued north past Cala di Volpe and Porto Cervo.

Finally we rounded Capo Ferro near where our friend Lorenzo lives high on the hillside.
Remarkably the next thing we saw was a flag waving in the distance........he had spotted us passing along the coast......fun moment.

We anchored for a calm night at anchor in Di Ziu Paulo bay near Cannigione.  
The next morning I woke early and as a ' dutiful ' wife got up at dawn to switch off our anchor and table lights to save battery power.......I was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise over the gulf....see pictures below.
