Title: 39:51.19N 010:02.08W Running down the Portugese Trade Winds

All is well aboard the good ship Tiroam.  We have just enjoyed an special afternoon running down the Portugese coast towards Lisbon with 20+ knots of wind behind us surfing down the waves.
Tony's comment in the log says it all - "boat beautifully balanced - Bob Marley playing"
We have the genoa poled out which gives her great balance and a maximum surf of 12.1kts.  No one can claim this best speed record except Mr Autopilot.
We have just had a great supper out in the cockpit and have now shortened sail for the night - still making a good 7/8kts.
We have sailed 688miles from Falmouth and have 66 miles to run to our next waypoint off Lisbon and then to Cabo de Sao Vincente and south-east to Gibraltar.
Love to friends and family
Tina, Tony, John and Rob
