We slipped our lines from Vathy after the rain and winds had passed and we motored in light winds the 1.5 n miles along the north west coast of Meganisi to the bay of Spilia and village of Spartachori.

It is a popular stop over for the visiting yachts in a horseshoe bay with the village high above on the edge of a steep cliff.
Historically, it is the birthplace of the hero of the Greek War of Independence, Demos Tselios ( 1785- 1854).

We spent a calm day and evening enjoying the location with friends Debs and Pete.

On the 17th we slipped our lines to head for nearby Nidri on Levkas.

The beautiful nearby hotel infinity pool and stunning views to Levkas and the mainland.

Love to all
