We arrived back in Licata on September 4th after the months of lockdown etc in Bath.  It was good to re-acquaint ourselves with our floating home and Goldcrest was looking pretty good considering it was 10 months since we were last on board.  As is usual with boats, we did find some issues to deal with and decided they were best done in Malta where we know people with the right skills (and language!)

So now we are en-route to Malta to get those jobs done while the weather is still friendly.  We had planned to anchor off the beach behind the sea wall but they have had some silting issues restricting the area and anyway, the sea is far too rough and there is no real shelter.  Part from having to pay €70 for a single night, we are not too unhappy as it gives us the opportunity to remember the town and the walk alongside the beach (much nicer that Licata) and most importantly, to savour the amazing pizzas one last time.  Off early tomorrow for Valletta.
