After meeting our latest visitors off the late ferry the night before, we had an interesting motor around the southern coast of Milos and anchored in clear turquoise water over white sand in a tiny bay off this nearby island. The south coast of Milos is spectacular, with weird formations in the white rock. There were tripper boats at all the great spots but we were only able to take a look as we passed on by.
This is the first anchorage we had to ourselves and we felt very privileged to be bobbing there with only the goats on the hillside for company. The night sky was magnificent with no light pollution to spoil the stars.
One interesting view of Poliagos island: looking just like the Needles:
