We decided in the end not to go further up the coast to the Costa Brava - we’ve already sailed 6,500nm this year so we have nothing to prove.  So feeling only a bit lazy, we are now settled in our winter quarters here in the Reial Club Marítim de Barcelona where we shall be until late February at least.  During the week we spent here last month we loved the location and the warm club welcome so we are very happy to be back.  In the meantime we’ve been parked a few miles up the coast at Badalona so we could fly up to the family in Toulouse for two weeks, followed by a very quiet fortnight back on board to make the most of our month’s payment for the berth.

It’s great to be back in the thick of things in the big city with so much to do on our doorstep and we hope that we can share the experience with friends or family who would like to visit. You won’t even need to go sailing to secure your cabin!
