We were battered by 42kt winds before we moved to this spot; another gale is forecast for Monday, so we’ll see if we really are more sheltered here.

We won’t be boring you with regular blogs while we are sedentary for the next few months, but if anything interesting occurs we may still write something here!  Meanwhile we have started our explorations of Valencia and sampled both its paella (along the beach front near the marina) and its famous cocktail “Aqua de Valencia” (cava, orange juice and vodka).  Last night it was tapas in the old quarter of the city but we were still in bed not long after midnight so not living like the locals yet.
