Heaven!  Only a few miles on from Pylos, but this place is just great.  We’re anchored in warm (temp. 27.6C) azure water with views of islands in the distance, a Venetian fort dominating the skyline to the East, topped off with a Turkish tower.  Town looks nice – we’ll explore later.

I’ve just spent ages scrubbing green goo off the waterline and snorkling under the boat to remove some of the brown muck that has accumulated in the last few weeks (hopefully boat speed & log accuracy will improve again).  Now we can relax (what a change I hear you say), crack open our last decent bottle of white (haven’t managed to find anything drinkable in the shops since Kephalonia) & maybe a few pistachios.  Heaven!
