Here we are at our “winter” berth at last.  Although we saw some pretty heavy storms over the town as we approached today (and the air temperature has dropped to around 20C), the climate here is pretty good throughout winter, with loads of days in the 20s or high teens according to the statistics.  We arrived early enough to have a little exploration, and the town looks very nice.  Unlike where we were in Valencia last winter, there are tons of shops, eateries and cafes all within a short walk.  The place looks pretty lively too, so we’re looking forward to exploring more and meeting other live-aboards.  We’ve already signed-up to our first walk to a nearby gorge.

If anyone needs it, our address is (until Feb we think):

Yacht “RED PANDA”

MARINA OF AGHIOS NIKOLAOS
