Some of you have spotted the fact that we have gone backwards on our planned route and are now back in Portugal.  As we reported last time, the tarry seams in our teak decks are making life impossible, but we’ve found someone who can tackle the job at a maybe affordable price.  It has meant retracing our steps by 65 miles and a two week delay, but it will be worth it to finally put this problem behind us.  D had a go at the task but the heat was unbearable and the finish less than perfect.
