A (long) walk to the laundry at the far end of the southern dock – past the heavily adorned sea wall of past visitors’ logos, names and year of transit (for the record Magic Friday’s will not be added to the “graffiti art” as it they tradition seems to have become a little over the top)! Attempts at fixing the genoa furler concluded in the missing two bolts in the luff extension protector – so another hunt at the chandlers and the mobile yacht repairs company for a possible replacement.  If nothing, we will make the call between jib and genoa – depending on the best wind forecast as to which headsail will be most useful on the final passage.
