A fresh day, a fresh start to our sail south - leaving Brunswick Landing Marina and friends for the sunshine and warmth! Early morning fisherman working the Brunswick Channel as we slipped quietly by. Out into the open sea, a fresh breeze but mostly south easterly, fortunately not too strong and a calm sea - a full set of sails and motor running gently in the background we could just hold our course along the coast. Quickly passing St Andrews Inlet (we had tried that one before!) we continued heading south towards St Mary's Inlet and Cumberland Island. Familiar territory, anchor dropped in Greyfield channel - only one other boat (a small motor launch) and us ... peaceful. Listening tot he sound of the waves crashing on the Atlantic beachside of Cumberland Island, we bbq'd (of course) as the sun set gracefully over the island. Day 1 - we were on our way to new adventures!
