Another sunny day - temperatures reaching 73F during the day - shorts and t-shirts! Inspection of the starboard electric winch - the finger switch protective cap had deteriorated in the sun and let water in causing random on/off signals to the winch! Dried out and a make shift needle to operate the switch and it is at least functional again - the search is on for a new cap or (more likely) a entire replacement switch. Some other minor jobs completed. GRIB (weather) files studied and plan made to leave tomorrow, coastal hop down to possibly St Augustine before strong southerly winds set in - well, at least that’s the plan! Booked a slip for our return (May), An evening bbq on dock 14 as the sunset paints spectacular colours of the marshes of Glynn - rounded off a very pleasant day at Brunswick Landing marina….
