Last leg - 700 plus miles to do, through Washington quite easily (even through Monday morning commuter traffic)> As we crossed the Potomac river, close to downtown, a brief glance at the Washington channel and Yacht Club marina where we sailed Magic Friday to back in Aug 2014 (was it really 4 years ago almost to the day.?) and so enjoyed the walks around the monuments. Charlotte NC and other city's dispensed with along the route - we were finally home (Atlanta GA) by the evening. A mere 12 hours (with stops); 2,600 miles round trip U.S. (including the Niagara Falls detour!), 750 miles road trip (Canada) and 440 nm (sail to Nova Scotia and back) . 30 days later - quite a journey!
