Another peaceful night, the boat silently swinging round as the tide changes, no wind, only the gentle "slap" of the wave ripples on the hull.
Another try with the outboard - carburetor apart again, this time going deeper into the float spring and more cleaning . maybe a little dirt from the fuel inlet line came out - some hope? But oh. where was the little rubber plug - search, search - no, it must have dropped off in a moment over the side! Re-assembled but fuel leaking from all areas of the carburetor - no chance to try to see if that little blockage was the problem. Pity. Now it's a search for spare parts as well.
Nothing for it but to admire the views, relax and read! Home-made turkey burgers on the bbq as the sun dips below the horizon once again.
