A leisurely morning start - enjoying the city view - after all we were only moving a few hundred yards and under the Lions swing bridge (11:30 opening) to the Municipal marina - refueled and tied up by mid-day! An afternoon spent exploring the city, the castle ramparts and remembering the sights and streets of our previous visit - checking out the old (haunted) St Francis Inn where we had stayed...very nice. Even time for some bird-watching on the tidal shore. New friends made and stories exchanged at the marina dockside - a couple also interested in sailing south - probably on Friday when the 25-30 knot winds abate and become a more favourable northerly! So, we are here for a few days - sheltered and ready to enjoy more of the oldest town in the U.S. - founded in 1565 - changing from Spanish, to French, to English and finally the Americans - quite a history to explore!
