Dawn rises over a silent marina only the swift movement of a snowy white egret fishing from the dockside breaks the water surface.

Another good day for cleaning, laundry and drying! Using Mini Magic scrub the port side hull (dock marks and fender rubs) with "Scrubby Bubbles" and then scrub the tender itself, deflate and stow away. Time to sterilize the water-maker - all set up and ready - but the primer pump doesn't turn on. Floor sole up to discover it is full of water - a seal must have leaked during recent usage. Not good for the motor driving the pump! Component parts stripped down but not going 12v DC power. More troubleshooting as the afternoon wears on - no success. Will have to stay longer and work harder on it another day.

As the sun drops, the herons fish for their evening meal whilst our lobster "culls" (missing a claw, as purchased earlier direct from the trawler outlet) sizzle on the BBQ and some fizz to celebrate the end of this journey's leg . although not the end of the stay (until the water-maker solution has been found). The day trip to Salem will have to wait!
