An afternoon visit into Cape May's town centre - a booming summer tourist destination for nearly two centuries and is the oldest seaside resort in the U.S. (although a little deserted today given the inclement weather)! The town has the largest collection of Victorian architecture - many quaint houses now converted into bed-and-breakfast lodges - all very interesting to stroll in the quiet back-streets and stumble upon the Congress hall - a place where Congressman from Washington DC would vacation. Whilst the beach front was lined with 1950's styled hotels and motels..

An evening back at the marina, time to investigate strange animal tracks (an otter perhaps?) along the dockside . and finally, a short walk to the Crab House and Fish restaurant to enjoy a great fish dinner before leaving on the tide in the mid-morning - rain, mist or no!
