A beautiful sunny day dawned over Patriots Point.

Plenty of time to catch the shuttle across Cooper Bridge and into town for a very pleasant stroll in the historic district. A browse through the market and nearby shops and a visit to the old Customs House built in 1776. The building was used by the British as a "Provost" to imprison pirates as well as storage of good imported to clear customs and duties, a post office and where some of the signatories to the Declaration of Independence were imprisoned for treason..all very interesting American history!

An early celebratory meal for our anniversary at the Fish House restaurant overlooking the Cooper Bridge and a short stroll back to our dock to finish the day.
