Day 5 - St Augustine Florida

As predicted, the wind picked up mid-morning heralding the approaching storm - no thunder or lightening but 25-30 knot winds ripping through the
bay gave for a "swing or two" on the mooring bouy!

A day inside - planning the next few legs. Tomorrow looks like a reasonable weather window to overnight to Cape Canaveral before another low sets in.

Then some thought to progress the ICW (Inter-Coastal Waterway) from the Cape all the way down to Fort Pierce, instead of taking the offshore route. Certainly the guide reads a picturesque route BUT there are 8 bridges with 65' clearance (we can just scrape underneath) and depth issues along the way (some charting 6' (we draft 6'6") - but then it is only mud!! Shall we go or shall we not? We'll do some more reading and seek any local guidance when in Cape Canaveral.
