Day 3 - Bahamas - Georgia (Harbortown Marina Fort Pierce Florida)

A day "on-the-road" - literally. We left at 07:00 (in our car) and returned 11 hours later (in a hire car). The plan being to move our car up to Brunswick landing Marina (our final destination and above latitude xx for insurance purposes) and return with a hire car to leave at Fort Pierce and sail thence sail the boat up to Brunswick to join our car. No problem - except Hertz location would not rent one-way cars from Brunswick and other rental companies had no cars (probably for the same reason) - eventually we found Fernandina Beach - private airport to be accommodating (Hertz) - meaning an extra 58 miles north to Brunswick. Anyway, the marina looked nice, the dock master was expecting us - albeit in a boat(!!) - which we confirmed would be a few days later,; a quick explore of historic downtown Brunswick and then back to Fort Pierce - a round trip of 600 miles! A swim and dinner at Harborcove restaurant to end the long day "on-the-road".....
