Still making fantastic progress in superb sailing
conditions, sun, blue skys and about 22kts from the NE. The noon to noon run
today was an amazing 195.5 nm, just missing out on the 200 mile day, which is an
average of just over 8kts in a straight line. Will try and break the 200 mile
day before the trip is finished. The reality is that it is so easy to get these
speeds with this boat without pushing it at all.
Yesterday evening was fantastic, not a cloud in the
sky, thousands of stars, warm winds and Dire Straights on the Bose system to
helm downwind to.... Magic.
