Day 7 (15/5) - A lively night as the westerly winds built in strength and into the morning. Following seas plus the remnants of the Gulf Stream current pushed us eastward at a good speed. Some challenging helming throughout the day kept us busy at the wheel! Also time spent troubleshooting an electrical fault in the head as we searched for a solution. At the least the sky was blue and the sun shone all day - at last! Expecting calmer winds and seas tomorrow and the next day - a chance to relax! Position posting at 12:00 Mid-Atlantic time (GMT-3hrs).
