A day to set to on jobs. First task was to move Magic Friday to Alsip with a 50A power outlet. Easily done in light winds, slack tide . and no rain! Whilst someone had to go to a business meeting (!), others started to re-equip the water-maker - firth the HP pump brackets with additional holes drilled to facilitate belt tightening and then the new low pressure pump (carried from the U.K.). Fresh food provisioning and lobster culls purchased ready for the evening BBQ. An episode of "Hornblower" rounded off the dinner.

One last job - a weather watch on the hurricanes - Florence, Isaac and Helena!! Florence forecast landfall early Friday morning. GRIB files showing red flags at the centre of the storm. Thankfully, our trip well north of any strong wind effects, with only storm surge wave heights to be monitored closely before leaving.
