Up early for the tide and ready to slip lines for a very short trip up the canal to the haul-out dock - as arranged we would have a lift out, wash and scrape and chance to inspect the underside.

The usual up and down before we positioned the lift slings sufficiently forward to clear the back stays on the lift frame and the keel on the dock yard - we should be experts by now (fourth lift at Brunswick)!

Not too much in the way of barnacles underside, the anti-fouling obviously doing its job BUT where was the propeller? Completed covered in crustacean - no wonder 4-5Knots under power was a struggle! Plenty of scrapping later - all clean and ready to go. Anodes added to the sail drive and cone - both of which had unfortunately been lost - clearly my attempts at replacing underwater had not lasted - but then on the advice of the yard hands - I was missing lock washers which may help to keep the screws from shaking off next time!
