A day for floating "around" the mooring bouy as the tide sweeps in, out and in again. Cooked breakfast in the cockpit - under the bimini shade as the sun begins to beat down - watching the inter-coastal traffic race by.. that's the way to spend a weekday morning!
Except, inevitably, there are some boat jobs to do - replenish the diesel from the stored containers - 80 litres of fuel for 41 hours running (at low revs) ~2 litres/hour - very economical (although of course wind power would have been even more so)!! The power winches tailing adjusted, a small electric fan stripped down to find the loose connection, the spray-hood starboard pocket re-stitched..and finally a relax, answer e-mails re property purchase and a read.

Evening dinghy over to the dockside (outboard working perfectly thank goodness!), wash, changed ready to enjoy the town - under threatening thunder clouds. First cocktails in the "Martini Bar" followed by pizza at a packed Italian watching the chefs turn out pizza after pizza - a popular place! Thankfully back to the boat having missed the downpour.
