Anchor hauled in the early morning light. This time we joined other sailors continuing their transit in the Hawk Channel. Good views along the way of the road bridge spanning/joining the numerous Keys - including the 7 mile bridge, all of which we had driven (down to Key West) some 5 years ago.
Turning the corner of Boot Key we navigated into aqua blue waters of the narrow channel approach to Marathon and our reserved marina slip at Burdines for the next few days. Slip (number 1), adjacent to the fuel dock and only 10 yards from the upstairs Tikki Bar and restaurant - perfect! An evening drink at the bar and peruse the menu for another night rounded off the day.
