Dawn revealed a delightful, remote place - we loved Five Fathom Creek! Distant sandbanks just above the reseeding tide line and a peaceful, placid water - perfect spot for breakfast! On the move again - just a short 1/2 day motor (no wind) around Cape Romain and into Wynah Bay for a Georgetown stop-over. A tricky, winding entrance to the river - but once inside a wide mouth, lighthouse on the north side and very well protected. Motor up to Georgetown - unfortunately against the tide - so a long haul! Georgetown itself is on a small off-shoot to the wide river which becomes the ICW, but having been assured by the downtown marina dockmaster that we could clear the bottom we turned into the off-shoot....and stopped - aground in the mud. Try again. No same problem. (The dockmaster having left for the day at this time). Try on the other-side of the island - there must be a way given the small industry located close-by - same – gently on the ground. So, turn around and head for the marina round the corner  on the ICW - Georgetown Landing Marina. Tied up on the fuel dock as there was no-one there to raise. A very nice lobster and chips dinner at the Blue Marlin marina restaurant and retired for the night.
