We potter around a bit having most anchorages to ourselves. Again the scenes ashore are tragic. I went to one favourite restaurant, not just closed but abandoned. They did not even close the doors when they left.
Eventually we go back into the luxury of Boat Lagoon Marina to get e few jobs done before we head off for the re-fit. The location of the re-fit has changed; I have now decided on a yard in Krabi. Remote but 40% cheaper than where we are now. I am hoping to get everything done in four weeks. Time will tell.
In the meantime Amarin jumps on a bus to visit her family; they are all moving into a temple for a couple of days for some serious praying. I hope they pray that I have enough money for the re-fit…
