Well, I got
all of my medical stuff done. The
cardiologist confirmed that I had a heart by showing it to me on her ultrasound
machine and then sent me for a CT scan to prove there was nothing wrong. I was
just getting older.
Next to the
colorectal surgeon who sticks 1.9 metres of tube up my nether regions. The detail and the vivid technicolour are
incredible. So good he gives me a DVD of
the whole thing. That means that I can
watch endless action replays of a polyp being removed and cauterized. What entertainment. But the pretreatment process is less than
entertainment! The surgeon (whose degree
was from UCD) said there was nothing wrong.
I was just getting older. Wild
Fox was jealous so I had to get a diver to get her bottom done too.
Then my
eyes. All sorts of tests and fancy
coloured print outs. Nothing wrong he
said. It was just that I was getting
older.
So that is
three very cheeky medical professionals fired.
Off back to
Langkawi as the wind might be favourable for a couple of days. So no more luxury supermarkets (there is even
an M&S here) but Langkawi is duty free so there are consolations.
The thyme in
my herb garden was not doing very well.
I screamed loudly at it to perform better. It was so frightened by Captain Anthony that
next morning it had converted itself into a healthy parsley plant!
It is very
hot at night so I laid out all of my bedding to air and went for lunch. Inside the restaurant I did not even notice
the rain come on. Such is the south west
monsoon…
