Work progressed well and, at last, I reduced the size of my rudder. I could have cut some off the aft end and the bottom. I decide to go a bit at a time and just remove the aft bit. A crane arrived to work on a super-yacht so I "borrowed" it to do a job at the top of my mast. And so it went on...

I relaunched on Thursday and continued with work afloat. The biggest job was to replace the faulty wooden battens which were made at great expense in New Zealand. These were finally fitted on Tuesday after many board meetings changes of plans.

I have decided to move to Manly where I will be in walking distance of shops and pubs. A survey of the four marinas saw me choosing the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. Very posh so just right for me and Wild Fox!
