All is quiet
at Boat Lagoon. Except that the South
West Monsoon has now kicked in properly.
Had I been coming back from the Maldives now I would be having a much
faster sail albeit a boisterous and a very wet one. I amuse myself doing varnish
jobs outside on the dry days and inside jobs on the wet days. And on the wet
days there are some very severe squalls.
Yesterday one of my flip flops blew off the pontoon. Disaster as you cannot but single flip flops
so I will have to buy a whole new pair.
Not much has
changed here except that the marina has acquired a new and bigger travel
lift. Making four in total.
On Tuesday I
have a visa run to the lovely Penang, hopefully coming back with a 90 day visa;
but this is not now guaranteed. Whilst
in Penang I will have my annual MoT of myself.
