Never trust a weather forecast. Nor a ocean current forecast. The wind is less than half what I expected and I have had 1.7 knots of current against me where there should have been none. Such is ocean sailing. Because of the distance I am going I have to be very economical with my fuel. I am guaranteed to be becalmed below Sri Lanka and again for the last 150 miles along the Indian coast. I have, at best, fuel for 400 miles.

Apart from that it is gentle sailing in nice sunshine apart from the times I have been totally becalmed. But India is a whole new adventure. Roll on India...
