Well the virus thing certainly means that I have much
less money to worry about. Not that it
will worry the super rich owners of the superyachts at the end of my pontoon. Their overheads must be huge; Cloud Break has
a full time crew of 20 (not including the helicopter pilot). And more when the owner and his friends are
aboard.
I have a problem with my new stern gland and will have to take it back to Phuket. Which is a pain as it is a four day island hopping passage which I have done many times and at this time of year there is no wind. Boring motoring!
And time is tight as I am supposed to be back down in Sumatera, 240 odd miles from Phuket by 15th March to join 30 odd other boats for a 100 day, 2,400 mile cruise. And I cannot leave here until my new tooth arrives. It is all go…
