A quick run down the new road financed by Japanese money and I was in Phnom Penh.  A bustling city of, mainly, poverty.  A somewhat harrowing visit to the killing fields followed by one to the infamous S21 interrogation centre.  As a result of the mass murders by Khmer Rouge only 5 per cent of the population is aged over 65.  And 50 per cent are under 20.  Shows what they all got up to after the civil war. 

I had a look around the king's palace.  Anything could happen tonight.  It is St Patrick's day after all...Inline image
