I have a
cycle tour booked in Chaing Mai and discover that I am the only customer. Not only do I have a guide but also a backup
van with two people in it! It is all
good fun. An open crematorium with
timber waiting for the next “customer”, no coffin just a shroud as the people
are so poor. But next door tens of
millions are being spent on a new temple.
At the Royal Palace beautiful gardens with a rose from Northern
Ireland. As you would expect.
Slowly parts
of the country are being improved but there is a long way to go.
