Re-launch at last...

The weather
finally clears for a couple of days and my varnish work is finished so I
re-launch three or four weeks behind schedule.
I keep my little apartment for a few more days as the boat needs work
inside before I can move aboard again.
The south west monsoon is now fighting with the north east monsoon. They do this every year even though the north
east monsoon always wins bringing clear and dry weather. Why can they not just swap over in one day?
In the
meantime my friends Bernie and Jit get married aboard a Grand Banks and in a
piece of bad decision making the boat’s owner (Rock Star Rob) gives me a kazoo
to play in the band. Anyway, apart from
that mistake it is a nice day out.
Closely
followed by a big party at Elly’s house in the Boat Lagoon complex. A wonderful house and the pool has an open
air double bedroom behind it. Fabulous food, loads to drink and Rock Star Rob
and his boys strut their stuff yet again.
In the
background I am looking for crew to sail to South Africa; if no success then it
is a matter of re-booking the ship to Turkey…
