Settling into India

After I get
the boat settled into the small marina I am soon to learn the full extent of
Indian paperwork. I have some spare
parts arriving and also my post from England.
It is not just that there is a lot of paperwork but the couriers do not
care that a parcel has not moved one inch in two weeks.
I jump on a
‘plane to go to Hydersbad to meet Roja.
Actually my flight is cancelled but nobody bothers to tell me. Eventually I arrive late at night instead of
lunchtime; my hotel is a dump, I move out next morning and Roja and I spend two
days around a city which is a great mix of ancient and modern; with lots of
dust.
Back at the
boat my parcels have not moved. And
several other boats arrive. Most of them
are going through the Red Sea now deemed to be safe for the first time in many
years. But with strong headwinds for
2,000 miles Wild Fox will be going the other way.
