We arrive in Penang circumventing the dredgers, do a bit of sightseeing and then head off to the famous Eastern & Oriental hotel for Christmas eve and Christmas day.  Decadent would be a good word to sum it all up.  Our suite overlooks one of the pools and right up to the 700 acre island that the hotel owners are building from scratch; one of the largest construction projects in Asia.

And now to rest up for the Christmas eve buffet…
