After the St. Patrick's day celebrations I headed 40 miles at 20 knots (obviously not in Wild Fox) to Isla Isabela.  Nice little hotel and soon a lady from Manchester had taken us to see Flamingos.  Up early next day and a 4 hour hike up a volcano; 2 hours down.  Tourists here are young - almost all under 30.  So a fast hike.  Our guide was 65 and led the way.  Something to be said for living a clean life.  Snorkelling in the late afternoon, poor visibility but many fish including some Galapagos Sharks, thankfully not violent.

Next day saw me on my own on a long walk around many features including the former penal conoly where the prisoners built the wall of tears "Where the strong cry and the weak die".  Skinny dipping on the way back, good dinner and a few beers.  Next moring back to Wild Fox at 32 knots (bumpy!) at 0530.  Glad to see her again, but her lovliness was well watched over by the Minnie Bs.  Now my turn to guard Minnie B.

Tomorrow Isla Seymour - all widlife and Saturday Bartolome, all geology
