Here I am half way to Rarotonga. So there will be a luxury fruit cake opened this afternoon - it is always worth celebrating half way day, even on a short passage of less than 550 miles. The weather good with very manageable winds and calm (well, relatively calm for mid Pacific) seas. Weather forecasts for the weekend are now conflicting. If the strong northerlies, which some sources are predicting, come in I will not be able to get into Rarotonga.
