OK, we are up and running again, map and positions fixed.  

All quiet here then I go to Penang for my annual medical check up.  My cardiologist says that I will live until the end of the week; but tells me this late on a Friday afternoon. I expect to have an extraction of the tooth with the botched root canal filling but the Endodontist says he can fix it by going in from the bottom of the tooth.  The procedure sounds horrible to me.  But not to him as he gets Stg1,000 pounds.  But Georgetown is as nice as ever. It will not look so nice on Thursday when I go back for this murderous two and a half hour procedure!

I have booked my visa run to the Philippines for the end of the month.  Another country.  After that I really must make some firm plans.  I cannot stay in Asia for ever…
