The Tiger Cave Temple

Amarin is a devout Buddhist and so I foolishly offer to take her to the Tiger Cave Temple, founded by a monk in about 2,000 AD.  A monk who was not afraid of tigers. There is a flight of steps to the top. Just 1,260 of them.  A climb of 300 metres over a distance of 600 metres and so a gradient of 1 in 2.  40 minutes up and Amarin is not too far ahead. 25 minutes down and I win. Clever Anthony.

It is worth it just for the views of the limestone cliffs and valleys.  But no monks up here.  They all stay at the bottom…
