After a purposely slow night, we arrived at the
pass in the coral reef on Kauehi Island at exactly 10:22am and experienced no
problems entering the lagoon. This is an incredibly peaceful place.
The boat is not rocking, swaying, tilting or moving in any way, shape or form -
first time since the west side of the Panama Canal back in early February.
We plan to stay for several nights and catch up on sleep and boat projects as
well as explore the one and only village on the island.
More on the Tuamotus and this particular island in
a day or two.
